I am a native of South Carolina but have always wanted to live in Florida. I am excited to be on this journey of becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I was referred to Dr. Colson by my classmate, and I am so glad I chose her as my supervisor. She is passionate about the mental health field and truly cares about providing a high quality supervision experience to me.

K. Talley, MS, Registered Mental Health Intern, Tallahassee, FL.

Dr. Colson I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work under your leadership and it was an awesome experience for me to have you as my supervisor. Your guidance and support, as well as your tenacious attitude has helped me so much in my own leadership skills and has strengthened my skills as a nurse. I highly recommend your skilled services and knowledgeable regimen for all in need of therapeutic services. “I am so grateful to have served under your leadership, I can’t thank you enough!

V. Carter Shaw, BS, ADN, LPN, Cottondale, FL

The leadership you provided to the Social Services Department was invaluable. You were the supervisor who would go above and beyond to assist your staff with any problems we may have encountered. You ensured we received the proper training to do our jobs and do them well. Because of you, I can help young social workers learn the job, I always encourage them to follow policy and procedure because that is what you taught me. I am forever grateful for the role you played in my professional career.

M. Lee,  MA, Mental Health Professional, Cottondale, FL

Dr. Colson, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work under your guidance and leadership. I truly admired your strong work ethic and professionalism at all times; you possessed great interpersonal skills along with a friendly personality. These skills allowed you to communicate effectively with your employees and maintain great working relationships. Thank you so much for your constant encouragement, direction and experience.

F. Sailor,  Mental Health Professional, Quincy, FL

A devoted leader, altruistic professional, passionate clinician are a few terms I use to recognize the great work of Dr. Colson. Being a recipient of her supervision has allowed myself to experience exponential growth as it pertains to becoming the aspiring licensed clinician I hope to be. Many times Dr. Colson would offer insight that showed her skill set by using abstract thinking to solve problems and reach solutions otherwise unthought of. I admire her honesty, encouraging words, and knowledge of the mental health profession.
